How to Apply for the Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia

The International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia is a global, knowledge-based contest that highlights the world's brightest engineering students under the age of 30 and active in the field of microelectronics. The contest is a series of written exams conducted in two stages. The first stage is held locally in all participant countries (Argentina, Armenia, Artsakh, Belarus, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Jordan, Malaysia, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uruguay, USA, Vietnam). One winner from each of the top 30 approved countries will be sponsored to travel to Armenia to compete in the final competition in October 2016.

There will be a limit to the number of participating countries

Depending on the number of first-stage contests held in each country the top scores from each university/event are compared and one winner per country is selected based on the highest score of all the tests taken in the country. If there are two tests with the same high score from one country, those two competitors will be required to solve an additional 1 hour test to determine the finalist. Total participant countries is limited to 30.
