The Procedure of the Annual International Microelectronics Olympiad of Armenia

The Olympiad is held in two stages. The first stage is held in the format of a quiz — a test with relatively easy questions. The second stage is held in the format of a competition — participants are given problems requiring complex and out-of-the-box solutions. The Program Committee defines the required pass mark for the test. Those who have the highest scores progress to the second stage.
On the answer sheet, the participants select one answer out of 5 possible options for each question (A, B, C, D, E) by crossing lines from the top left corner to the bottom right corner and from the bottom left corner to the top right corner (as shown below).

Correct procedure

If one crosses out more than one answer for the same question, or makes any other notes, they will score zero.
